Things you didn’t know! 3 unusual uses of jojoba oil

Jojoba oil – one of the most popular “golden” elixirs supporting skin youth. His homeland is the area of North America, and his mother – a Californian shrub called simondsja. It is unusual and perfectly nourishes the body. What else is it suitable for? Discover the 3 best and surprising uses of jojoba oil.

1. Jojoba oil – better than a makeup primer

It is worth applying jojoba oil to your face before putting on makeup. It is quite remarkable that such a greasy substance or to be more precise, a wax (jojoba oil contains a lot of wax esters), creates a shiny filter on the skin which disappears very quickly. The wax is absorbed and leaves the skin smooth, soft, elastic, properly moisturized, with closed pores. Jojoba oil takes care of both dry and oily skin, in both cases balancing the level of sebum.

2. Jojoba oil – a scalp and hair mask

Everyone rubs it into the body and adds it to the bath or to the face masks. Meanwhile, jojoba will work perfectly as a hair mask. It is astonishing that jojoba fits both dry and oily hair! Its unusual, almost magical component (squalane) regulates the level of sebum, reduces seborrhea, and balances its deficiency even if you have exceptionally dry skin.

3. Jojoba oil – as a component of a natural lotion bar

A body lotion made from natural ingredients and with fragrances we have always dreamt of? It sounds great and it’s easy to do. Just combine beeswax, jojoba oil and coconut oil in equal proportions. To put the ingredients together, put them in a bowl and dip them in a water bath. When the ingredients are dissolved, supplement the mixture with a few drops of your favourite essential oil. It can also be a mixture of several oils, whatever suits you. If you want, instead of coconut oil, you can add a lot of shea butter – the balsam will then gain a different, deep nutty scent.
